About Us
Founded in 1889 as Fort Collins Monument Works, our company has served the Northern Colorado, Southern Wyoming and Western Nebraska area for over 100 years. The original facility was located on Mountain Avenue and Remington Street in Fort Collins, Colorado. It was then moved to Mountain Avenue and Mathews Street where Home State Bank now stands. Most of the memorials in area cemeteries were crafted by our skilled artisans.
Current owners Steve and Kathy Miner purchased Fort Collins Monument Works in 1979. We changed the company name to Fort Collins Monument & Stone in 1989 to signify our move to a larger facility at 824 East Lincoln Avenue and our diversification into fabrication of other natural stone products such as granite countertops and sandstone signs.
